A highly fermented olong tea from Taiwan, flavoured with exotic fruits and flowers. First to make their presence felt are the pineapple and coconut, later followed by the sweet-and-sour aromas of rose blossoms. The ensemble is rounded off with vanilla, dried cranberry and pomegranate.
Ilha Formosa, or Beautiful Island, is what the Portuguese named the verdant Taiwan when they first encountered it in 1542 AD.
